We Draw to Draw to Draw: Sharing the GOSPEL with ACTS

Let’s be honest: most folks don’t expect to meet Jesus in a cartoon.

But at Reach One Media, we’ve never been much for doing things the usual way.

We’re cartoonists with a calling, caricaturists with a cause, and storytellers with a spark. And yes—our pencils are mightier than the sword (and definitely more fun at picnics). We believe that fun is a holy thing when it’s used to bring people closer to the One who made them.

Our mission?
Simple: Share the Gospel.
Our model?
Also simple: A.C.T.S.

Now, sure, we’re fans of the Bible’s Book of Acts. It’s the original action-packed adventure: miracles, missionary journeys, dramatic jail breaks, and bold preaching from the likes of St. Peter and St. Paul. But around here, ACTS also means something else:

ATTRACT. CONNECT. TELL STORY.

That’s the Gospel strategy behind everything we do.

ATTRACT – Draw ‘em in (with a smile)

We start by drawing people.
Literally.

Our caricatures catch eyes and turn heads. Big noses. Wiggly ears. Holy humor. Something about a hand-drawn face just makes people stop scrolling and start smiling. It's art with heart—and it's the first step.

Why? Because we believe Jesus would’ve loved a good laugh and a warm connection at the county fair or the church fish fry.

CONNECT – Draw them closer (with love)

Once the smile is there, the real magic begins.
We don’t stop with the chuckle. We draw people closer—we connect.

We ask about their story. Their town. Their favorite BBQ joint. We listen. We love. We lean in with curiosity and care, the kind that makes someone feel seen and valued.

In a world full of noise, real connection is a Gospel act.

TELL STORY – Draw them to Christ (with truth)

This is where it all leads:
We draw people to Christ.

Not with sermons shouted from a bullhorn, but with stories told from the heart.
We talk about grace. About hope. About second chances and surprising joy.
And sometimes—when the Holy Spirit really gets involved—we don’t have to say much at all. The story lives in the art and in the love that went into it.

That’s evangelization the St. Paul way: personal, passionate, and right out in the open.

Anyone Can “ACTS”

Now, you might be saying, “Well, I can’t draw a stick figure with a ruler!”
No worries. You don’t need to be the next Rembrandt or Bubba Joe Picasso.

You can still ACTS your way into someone’s heart.

  • Attract: Smile. Open the door. Be kind in a grumpy world.

  • Connect: Ask a question. Remember a name. Offer help without being asked.

  • Tell Story: Share your life. Share God’s goodness. Don’t be afraid to be real.

We’re all storytellers in our own way.

The Final Sketch

At Reach One Media, we draw because we love.
We draw because we believe in the Gospel.
We draw because some people won’t come to church, but they’ll sure stop at a cartoon booth.

And when they do, we’re ready:

  • We draw to ATTRACT.

  • We draw to CONNECT.

  • We draw to TELL STORY.

We DRAW to DRAW to DRAW.

Our Story

That’s “ACTS.” That’s our story—and yep, we’re stickin’ to it!

What’s your story going to be when you meet Jesus face-to-face some day? Are you going to have some friends you want to introduce to Him?

Vivat Jesus!
